Acceptable use policy.

By using Cyberus services, you agree to comply with this policy. Failure to adhere to this AUP may result in suspension or termination of services.

Purpose

The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy is to:

  • Protect the integrity, security, and reliability of Cyberus systems and services

  • Ensure lawful and responsible use of our infrastructure

  • Prevent abuse, disruption, or illegal activity

  • Maintain a safe environment for all users and customers

Prohibited Activities

Users may not use Cyberus services, networks, or systems to engage in any activity that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or disruptive.

Illegal Activities

  • Violating any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations

  • Engaging in fraud, phishing, identity theft, or financial scams

  • Distributing illegal content or materials

  • Infringing intellectual property rights, copyrights, trademarks, or patents

Network Abuse and Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or networks

  • Hacking, probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without authorisation

  • Distributing malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, or malicious code

  • Conducting denial-of-service (DoS or DDoS) attacks

  • Interfering with the security or performance of any system or network

Spam and Unsolicited Communications

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email or spam

  • Operating email lists or campaigns without proper consent

  • Sending misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent communications

  • Using Cyberus infrastructure for mass unsolicited marketing

Harmful or Offensive Content

Users may not distribute, host, transmit, or promote content that:

  • Is defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harassing

  • Promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination

  • Contains explicit or unlawful material

  • Violates the rights or privacy of others

Service Misuse

  • Excessive use that negatively impacts network stability or other users

  • Circumventing security or authentication measures

  • Reselling services without written authorisation

  • Using services in a way that damages Cyberus’s reputation or operations

Customer Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials

  • Ensuring devices connected to Cyberus services are secure and updated

  • Monitoring authorised users of their accounts or services

  • Promptly reporting suspected security incidents or unauthorised access

Monitoring and Enforcement

Cyberus reserves the right to:

  • Monitor network activity where permitted by law

  • Investigate suspected violations of this AUP

  • Suspend, restrict, or terminate services without notice where necessary

  • Cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities

  • Remove or block content or traffic that violates this policy

Cyberus may take action immediately if a violation threatens the security, integrity, or availability of services.

Reporting Violations

Limitation of Liability
